Story

The name "dagda" comes from the mythical Celtic God who controls fertility and regeneration. Our product groups, which incorporate many superfoods and fruits from both around the world and Japan's rich soils, are vivid in color and lend glamor to one’s diet. Like wine, which has a totally different personality depending on the climate and soil (“terroir”), our super foods, which have long supported the health of the people who live on the land, have deep flavors rooted in local cuisines. In addition to their high nutritional value, the story that is spun from their historical and cultural backgrounds attracts people to these superfoods. “dagda” is a cereal food brand that brings out the appeal of these super foods to its fullest through traditional manufacturing methods, craftsmanship, and the added colors of fresh fruits.

Product

Our organic oatmeal and oat powder comes from Grain Millers Co., Ltd. We mix organic coconut oil and honey and bake it slowly at a low temperature until it becomes crunchy. Nuts are indispensable for granola, so we then caramelize almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts and more. For coloring each product, we use rare fruits with an emphasis on superfoods. Finally, we use an organic date paste called "God's Food" to remove any bitterness and, for the finishing touch, add flavor with dagda original spices.
